·El Centro Network ECN sourced, curated, edited, translated, and submitted more than 450 days-worth of quality Spanish devotional content to YouVersion. As of September 11, 2017 we have over 419,167 completed plans by users in just 4.5 months and a total of 88 reading plans uploaded. We now represent about 1/3 of all the You Version Spanish reading plans catalog.
·ECN launched ORU’s Spanish-speaking student recruitment initiative both onsite and online. ECN presented what ORU brings to the Spanish speaking communities to 120K leaders and evangelists leading the 1 Millón Para Jesús event in Mexico City in June of 2017, as well as the 915,00 that made decisions for Christ via this event. We hope to see many students join ORU via this major promotional effort.
· ECN partnered with the global ministry One Hope to provide its Book of Hope in Spanish to 500,000 children in Mexico City, the largest city in the world, at the 1 Million para Jesus event described above. We also distributed 50,000 copies of the Book of Hope in Spanish in Managua Nicaragua in July 2017.
· ECN produced its first Bible visibility awareness video named “Este Libro Esta Vivo”, featuring the well-known secular group, Intocable. Over 70,000 people at the 1 Millón Para Jesus “Celebration Day” event at Azteca Stadium in Mexico City viewed the video. Now it will go to multiple social media sources with the expectation to reach millions of Spanish-speaking viewers challenging them to discover that “The Book is Alive”
· ECN partnered with this one-of-a-kind evangelistic outreach event that took place on June 16 and 17 in Mexico City. ECN provided the event with assistance in a variety of areas including strategy, printing of witnessing materials, in-kind donation worth over $350,000 USD of outreach tools, funding, and more. 915,000 decisions for Christ were made!
ECN printed and distributed 3.5 Million imprints of materials and 500,000 Books of Hope to engage Mexico City in the word. In addition to over 70,000 evangelists, the “Celebration Day” event also drew an additional audience of 900,000 via live streams as well as the hundreds of thousands on television across Latin America.
