About Us

Promoting Bible Engagement

  • ECN is a 501(c) 3 non-profit based in Houston, Texas, USA. We are dedicated to the advancement of Bible engagement globally.
  • We are one of the top content providers for YouVersion’s Bible app, providing content in Spanish, English, Russian and Portuguese.
  • ECN partners with key ministries, churches, pastors, and publishing houses to produce new Bible reading plans for the Bible app, created from content provided by the partner.

Our Mission

ECN’s Vision is to see English, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian speakers globally engaging with the Bible four times per week, leading to life transformation.

Today, there is a major lack of non-English content available on the YouVersion Bible app and ECN aims to fill the need.

Benefits of Bible Engagement

Someone who engages the Bible four or more times per week is: 228% more likely to share their faith with others,  59% less likely to view porn, and 30% less likely to struggle with loneliness.

What YouVersion says About ECN

“We saw a year-over-year increase of 81% for Spanish Bible plans completed, which we celebrate with El Centro Network, who has generously contributed to this success in 2017.”

“Since March 2017, El Centro Network has increased our library of Spanish plans by over 30% and has submitted more plans than any other partner in 2017.  Each plan represents another opportunity for Spanish readers all over the world to learn and engage with the Bible.”
“In 2017, El Centro Network also proactively connected YouVersion with many Latin American influencers, and helped bring content from reputable ministries such as El Lugar de Su Presencia / Andres Corson, Danilo Montero and Daniel Calveti. These new partnerships help expand the YouVersion community and have become trustworthy voices within our community.”
“We are grateful for our friends at El Centro Network who continue to use their resources, time, network, and skills to consistently lead more people to daily explore and engage with the Bible.”
